About Code Petals
Code Petals is a compact deduction game independently built for Frogame. Each secret has three positions using symbols 1 through 5. Symbols can repeat.
There are eight fixed puzzles and up to eight guesses per puzzle. Feedback tells you how many symbols are in the correct spot and how many belong in a different spot, without double-counting duplicates.
How to Play
Tap each numbered petal to cycle its value from 1 to 5.
Press Check guess. In place means the correct symbol at the correct position; elsewhere means a matching symbol in another position.
Find all three positions before the guesses run out. Reveal optionally shows one secret position at a time.
Code Petals Tips & Tricks
- A clue describes the whole guess, not a particular petal.
- Symbols can repeat, so do not rule out a value just because it is already used.
- Reveal cycles through the three positions. It is an optional learning aid, and using it does not spend a guess.

Code Petals FAQ
Can I win on my last guess?
Yes. A correct eighth guess wins.
Does Retry generate a new secret?
No. Retry resets the same fixed puzzle. Next opens the next puzzle after a win.
What happens after eight incorrect guesses?
The secret is shown and the attempt ends. Retry gives you another attempt.
Can I pause?
Yes. Pause locks the controls until Resume. Hidden pages also pause.
